Camp NaNoWriMo, Summer 2013: Day 2

So I thought I’d be finished with Chapter 1 today, but that didn’t happen. I’m making really good progress, though. Plus I do see the end of this chapter in sight. I was worried about chapter word counts initially because the way I have this novel planned is 75,000 words in 24 chapters. Somehow I think it might be a bit longer.

I have started establishing some good relationships. That’s a plus. There isn’t nearly enough drama yet, certainly not enough for a first chapter. Oh well, there’s always revision.

Write or Die Session #1: 30 minutes/1415 words
Write or Die Session #2: 20 minutes/819 words

How many words did you write today? 2244
How long did it take you to write them? 50 minutes of Write or Die
How many Facebook breaks did you take?  None
How many characters have you killed off to date? None
How many NaNoWriMo Angels have you murdered? Maybe a dozen. Sorry, angels.
Have you stopped using contractions yet? Nope
What was today’s reward for finishing word count? Fruit-By-the-Foot, shower.
Cups of Tea: None
How any pieces of chocolate were consumed? None. Don’t have any in the house.
Total NaNoWriMo Word Count So Far: 4131

How many words did you write today? And how many angels have you killed?
